Class Info

Who Should Sign Up?

If you have not taken any music classes before or you aren't sure of your skill level, don't be afraid! Contact us to find out. We will recommend the class that's right for you. All ages are welcome -- even adults!

What Equipment Do You Need?

For piano lessons, every student should have an instrument at home that is in good working order and appropriate for their skill level. They need to be able to practice regularly outside of our studio. If you are thinking of taking lessons but don't yet have an instrument, we do have keyboards available for 6 week loan periods. Please ask for more info if this interests you.

How Long Are Your Classes?

Our students register for the school year. Each class is typically half an hour on a weekly schedule. Some students choose to take multiple classes per week or longer lessons, but that is up to the individual. As the student advances in skill, longer lessons are recommended to cover the material. Seniors classes are generally booked an hour at a time.

How Much Do Lessons Cost?

We offer private lessons during the regular school year. The average lesson year has 36 lessons, but each year can vary depending on which day of the week your lesson is on.

One half hour lesson, once a week: $30 per lesson

One half hour lesson, once a week for children from the same family: $28 per lesson, per student (family discount!)

Summer lessons are available at a discount. Please ask us for more info!
